A quinceanera is a lovely tradition in the hispanic culture celebrating a young girls coming of age - her 15th birthday! If you've never been to one, it is a beautiful ceremony and party where the young lady invites family and special friends to join her for this most special event. I loved the ceremony where the young lady's father removes her "girlish" shoes (in this case her sneakers) and slips her high heels on her feet for the first time! Another favorite highlight was when she lights a candle for each special person in her life and explains why they are important to her. I think traditions are so important in any culture, and being such a part of this special one for this special family was truly a joy!
Sometimes I just love walking around shooting. I really enjoyed this tonight in beautiful Mount Laurel. What a gorgeous spring evening it was!
This charmer just turned one! I don't know what I loved the most between those gorgeous eyes and those curls!
Just a southern girl who loves to shoot...
