A little throwback this morning to this wedding at Charlotte's Mint Museum. A beautiful couple standing under this gorgeous Chihuly sculpture!
The rain started falling softly on this summer's evening as we photographed this classically beautiful bride. I love how it gave an air of mystery to this session... A truly timeless beauty...
This was a special wedding for so many reasons. A couple who are bright and beautiful with such an amazing future. A couple whose faith is as strong as their love for each other. And how exciting for me to shoot my first wedding in the new chapel of my church, Church of the Highlands. Such a joy to be a part of this happy day!
I think all brides are beautiful, but who can deny this one was especially beautiful? Her eyes glowed with excitement and happiness as she dreamed of her future. Wishing a special couple many, many, many years of joy and happiness.
There is nothing like spring for the soft warm sunshine, fresh new grass and flowers and of course, new beginnings! I'm so happy for this special couple who have only just begun....
Southern Soul Studio is proud to see another gorgeous wedding published in one of this season's Bride Guides! The Hoover's issue features a lovely fall wedding that was full of romance. Church of the Highland's Greystone campus hosted this special couple's big day. See more highlights from their wedding here. Congratulations to David and Lynn!
So excited to see one of my beautiful summer weddings published in the Bride Guide of Shelby Living magazine! Love seeing these highlights of Kinsley & Ryan's special day. See the blog and take a look at more beautiful images from their day HERE!
Fall is one of the most popular times for weddings and for good reason. The magic of this beautiful day was emphasized by the beautiful light and color this special couple enjoyed. Church of the Highland's Greystone campus was the perfect setting while the cool crisp autumn air gave the perfect ambiance for the most romantic newlyweds of the season. Enjoy these highlights from their special day!
I absolutely loved shooting these bridals at the beautiful Gabrella Manor... If you haven't seen it, the architecture is so unique with gorgeous ivy climbing the walls accented by iron and turrets. Moments after we started shooting, it poured rain! But we made the best of this crazy Alabama weather by finding the silver lining inside this cool old home. This lovely bride was perfect for such a gorgeous setting. Her classic dress and stunning beauty made this one of my favorite bridal portraits!
This beautiful Birmingham summer wedding was magical. I loved photographing the big day for this handsome couple. It was full of special moments that made it even more fun for me to capture! From the sweet moment when the bridesmaids said a special prayer for the new couple.... To the totally random moment when the ice cream truck happened by as we were shooting formals and the entire bridal party took a "sweet break"! This was such a beautiful wedding! The sunset kiss under Vulcan was one of my favorite moments. The city lights of Birmingham twinkled and glowed as the celebration continued with everyone dancing under the stars. Enjoy these favorite highlights from this lovely summer wedding.
Wedding season is approaching and the excitement is building for many new brides. I love seeing their joy and watch their mounting anticipation as the wedding draws nearer. Planning is key and talking to her about the vision she has for the day helps us both to make sure she captures all of her memories in her own special way.... I love these planning sessions and I love thanking my brides for trusting me with their big day!
